Some highlights of our recent events
Tough Mudder
On the 7th of June, The Valleyfield Group took on one of the most challenging events yet, Tough Mudder at the Hopetoun Estate, Queensferry. It was an incredible success, raising £1980 for Chris’s House, which stands for ‘Centre of Help, Response and Intervention Surrounding Suicide’. Our team worked hard to overcome obstacles, and we are so grateful for their continued support.
Glasgow Kilt Walk 2024
Six staff, friends and family members of the Valleyfield Group, took part in the 2024 Kilt walk, on the 28th of April 2024.
The day started with a breakfast, before setting off for the start line.
The group were in good spirits and confident of completing the walk in a decent time, whilst raising some much needed funds for the Craighalbert Centre. The day was inspiring for all involved and we raised a total of £1270 for the charity.
Bench Build
When asked if we could support a local primary school with the building of their new picnic benches, Valleyfield Property and Maintenance Services were only too glad to help!
"We are very much a big part of this community, with a large proportion of our staff coming from within a 20 mile radius of the school. We did not hesitate, when asked to support with constructing the school's new picnic benches", stated Charlene Murray, the Director of Operations at VFPM.

Cumbernauld and Carbrain Community Hub Christmas 2023/24
In 2023, we raised money for the Cumbernauld and Carbrain Community Hub by selling our own handcrafted Christmas decorations. We used recycled timber and simple materials like ribbon and pine cones. The Timber was donated by Building Companies from the sites Valleyfield Joinery work and the decorations made by Valleyfield Property & Maintenance Services. The money raised went towards Christmas presents for two families in need at this trying time of year. Cumbernauld and Carbrain Community Hubs Support the community all throughout the year, where they provide support locally by running different groups such as Men and Women’s groups, wellness groups, and LGBTQ Youth groups.
